Depending on the severity of the offences, Property24 reserves the right to sanction offending agencies in one of the following ways:

1. Listings may be blocked

a. Please note that an image cannot be blocked independently of a listing, therefore should an image offence occur, the listing will be blocked. A listing may take between 24 and 48 hours to reappear on the Portal after it has been unblocked.

b. To have your listing unblocked, kindly contact the team at ListingModeration@property24.com once you have rectified the listing.

2. Agencies may receive a ranking penalty

a. Please note that penalties are enforced against an agency, not just the directly offending person or agent. When a penalty is applied against an agency this could result in property alerts not being sent out for the agency whilst the penalty is in place.

3. Accounts may be suspended or closed

a. Should a listings offence continuously be repeated, Property24 reserves the right to suspend or close the account of the offending agency.

Once we have applied a penalty to an agency, it remains the agency’s responsibility to rectify the offence, and communicate as such to Property24 so that the penalty can be reviewed. Kindly contact the team at ListingModeration@property24.com for such reviews.

Depending on the level of offence, these are the penalties that may be enforced by Property24:

PENALTY LEVEL 1: Loss of Quality Score

PENALTY LEVEL 2: Block listing with email notification

PENALTY LEVEL 3: Quality Score penalty applied across all of the agency’s properties PENALTY LEVEL 4: Quality Score penalty applied across all of the agency’s properties and agency’s email alerts to consumers suspended.

PENALTY LEVEL 5: agency account suspended or permanently closed.
