The My Business Tab helps you to set Goals for yourself and then calculates what you need to accomplish to achieve your sales goals! My Business is based off the principles taught in the Buffini Course.


Navigate to My Business under CRM. There you will find the Estimated Projected Earnings Calculator.

Click on the Information Button as this tells you what the section does for you.

 

 

Section 1: Income and Taxes
Insert the Net Income you want to earn for the Year and the Estimated Tax rate.

 

Section 2: Expenses
These Expenses are determined by you from previous experience or an estimation of what you think your expenses would be.

 

Section 3: Commission Split
The true Professional Fee/Commission split is determined by you and your Broker/Owner upon signing your contract. 

 

Section 4: Sales Volume
Insert your average sales Price & Commission charged for properties you have sold in the last 12 months. 

 

Section 5: Referrals

Buffini & Company found that most agents getting started working by referral need to make 20 relationships to generate a referral. On average, one out of every three referrals turn into a closing. We’ve set these as the default ratio when calculating your Goals.

 

Below, ‘Contacts required...’ were changed to 10 & ‘Referrals’ to 1. These changes can be made, based on your experience of how many contacts you need to make to generate a referral:

  

Section 6: Weekly Activity Goals
This is the amount of voice-to-voice or face-to-face weekly activities you need to reach your Annual Business and Income Goals. The system defaults to 0 Notes, 0 for calls & Pop-Bys. By inserting figures into sections 1,2 & 3, the system starts recommending weekly Call & Pop-by activity numbers.

 

Below are activity numbers that you can use, or you can insert your own activity numbers based on your experience in obtaining referrals. In the below example, it has been changed to 50 Calls, 10 Pop-Bys & 5 

Notes. 

 

Based on the figures inserted in all tables, 156 Calls are recommended, 24 Pop-Bys & 10 Notes to achieve your Goal of Earning R1 million in the year.

 

Section 7: The Gross Income Calculator
This calculator works out the Gross Income & Estimated sales volume to achieve your Net Income Goal. The Calculators update all the numbers to achieve your next income goal:

  • Transaction Goals: the number of conclusive transactions required on a Monthly, Quarterly and Annual basis to achieve your Gross Commission Goal.
  • Activity Goals: the number of new database Contact editions per month (on average) to achieve your income goal and the number of Referrals you require per month (on average) to make enough sales to achieve your Gross Commission Goal.
