Betterbond guideline

Just as you send the required documentation to attorneys on the Attorney tab, with enhanced security the Betterbond tab allows you to send the OTP, seller/buyer details, and property price to our preferred bond originator partner - Betterbond. Having all the necessary information allows the Betterbond consultant to swiftly contact the buyer.

1. Create the deal

Navigate to Deals > Create Deal and create the deal, thereafter capture mandatory fields on the tabs below:

Click Next

Mobile numbers are mandatory
Juristic type contacts – the Director name, surname, email and mobile fields are mandatory. Click on the Save Director button on the bottom left, thereafter click on the Save button on the right

3. Instruction tab

Select the attorney
Select the Offer to Purchase document type
Select the Attach to instruction checkbox
Upload the Offer to Purchase
Click Next

Betterbond Agent	This data is predefined by Betterbond – select a name from the dropdown
Click on Select agent to link if the agent name does not display. Select the agent name from the dropdown and click on SEND REQUEST. This action emails a request to Betterbond to link the agent (40 minutes)
Betterbond Consultant	This data is predefined by Betterbond – select a name from the dropdown
Click on SEND REQUEST if there is no Consultant to select. This action sends an email to the Betterbond Operations department. A Betterbond consultant will contact your office.

SUBMIT LEAD	Click SUBMIT LEAD after all fields are populated. A Betterbond consultant will contact the buyer.
