How to Get Your REMAX Facebook or Instagram Page Unblocked by Meta

Overview

If your REMAX office’s Facebook or Instagram page has been blocked, restricted, or removed by Meta, this is usually due to automated checks related to trademark or brand usage.

The good news is that there is an official, supported process to get your page reinstated.

Why This Happens

Meta may temporarily block pages that:

• Use registered trademarks such as REMAX
• Are flagged by automated impersonation or brand protection systems

This does not mean your office has done anything wrong.

How to Get Your Page Unblocked

Step 1: Request a Legal Permission Letter (Self-Service)

To reinstate your page, Meta requires an official legal letter confirming that your office is authorized to use REMAX branding.

Complete the form with your office and page details. This request goes to REMAX LLC's Legal team, who will prepare the required letter.

Step 2: Submit the Legal Letter to Meta

Once you receive the legal permission letter from REMAX LLC Legal:

• Submit it to Meta as part of their appeal or review process
• Follow Meta’s instructions until your page is reinstated

This letter confirms that your office is authorized to operate under the REMAX brand.

Step 3: Add Your Page to Meta’s Allow List (Very Important)

After your page has been reinstated, you must request that it be added to Meta’s Allow List to help prevent future takedowns.

This step is essential and should only be completed after the page is live again.

Step 4: Notify Kayla from Marketing Once Reinstated

Once your page has been reinstated, please notify Kayla so she is aware the process has been completed.

• Facebook Page username
• Instagram username
• Confirmation that the page has been reinstated
